You say you had no choice but to get your puppy but at 8 weeks and I'm not sure I understand that because everyone has a choice. One of the things that puppies can have a problem with when taking them away from there mothers before 12 weeks is biting. I would use a puppy shampoo and maybe have the vet look at the bald spots and where she is scratching. All dogs can have allergies and not all yorkies have allergies.
