I cried while reading this... what a traumatizing story. I feel so much for your loss, because I lost my first Yorkie last fall and I only had her for less than 7 months. =( It was horrible, but the house was so empty and lonely without her, that a week later, I got another yorkie girl to help me with my grieving, and it did. Of course it won't ever replace your dog, but it brings happiness again and cheer you up, you won't regret it!
May Coco rest in peace, and what matters the most, it's that she knew you loved her so much before she left, and that she had a happy life.
