I totally agree with your first point. Romeo is "antisocial" and by that I mean he will not let strangers pet him. In the beginning I thought it was a problem but the more stories I hear about Yorkies being stolen the better I feel about not pressing him to be nice to strangers.
Romeo is such a good boy that he will NEVER let anyone, and I mean anyone -- my daughters, sisters or brother -- pick him up and walk out the door. He lets out the meanest, loudest growls that would scare even the burliest of crooks. I am pretty confident that if a stranger approaches him he will "attack".
