Wow, only 17. I can see why she is overwhelmed. So the way she went about trying to find the dog a home was a little crazy in my opinion...wanting the most money, ect but I'm happy she picked the right person in the end to give him up to. I can't really judge. She is young and probably did not know what to do and from the sounds of it not the greatest person with the upkeep of him aka his matted fur. So I'm not too surprised she got him and then felt the need to give him up. I made a lot of bad mistakes at that age so I'm happy to see she made the right decision to give him to someone that is going to love him and give him the home he deserves. It's crazy when you're young and all you care about is getting your own animal and then you realize you are going to have an even harder time taking care of a baby. Glad she didn't end up keeping him and trying to take care of a baby and a dog at that age. I'd go nuts! I'm really happy though he's adjusting well with Michelle and am so excited to watch him grow with Karen and her family.
