my first reaction to your post was OMG, what kind of crap is this poor dog being fed... in all honestly, if the pup is doing well on Purina and Mighty Dog, then what's the diff?
When I was growing up, our dogs ate Gravy Train and table scraps and all survived to ripe old ages.
Smokey started out life on people food, and was the picture of health when we got him. Horrifiede at this, I switched him over to a high quality minimum ingredient kibble and cowtow to his Epicurious and finnniky nature regarding 'wet' enhansers. I'm thinking I should have maybe left well enough alone.
