They give us signs all the time that sometimes we don't pick up on.
That reminds me...One day, we bought a bag of food from the vet (prescription food), brought it home, and poured some in his bowl...He refused to eat which was strange b/c he usually likes his food. We were worried since he can't eat any other food b/c of his liver problem, so my husband and I immediately realized that there must be something wrong with the food. We checked the bag, and it was expired! That's why he wouldn't eat it. How in the world did he know? I guess it smelled stale??
