Hi, we're new to the forum and I just wanted to introduce my Yorkshire Terrier mix to everyone. I adopted Bayleigh from the shelter that I worked at before it shut down (another dog and a cat too). She was surrendered at the age of 3 months by an elderly woman who wanted a dog badly but soon found out that puppies are evil!
The poor lady's arms were shreaded from little puppy claws. She had called the previous day and I had planned on fostering her. Bayleigh was/is my first and only foster failure. I don't plan on it happening again.
Supposedly, her mother was a typical looking Yorkie and her father was a pure white Shih Tzu. I don't know... I joined this forum because I have some questions about coat color/type, even though she is a mix. She takes after the Yorkie side so much more. I don't have any recent photos on this computer so I'm taking them off FB. She got her first hair cut two weeks ago. She looks very different from these photos now.
