It could just be an off day Callie has some of those but if it lasts more then a day I would go ahead and let the vet check her out. I very much would get your boy neutered. There have been some crazy stores of what a male dog unfixed will do to get to a female in heat. Also if he were to ever get lost and a bad person got a hold of him they could use him in a puppymill or sell him for a lot of money.
