 healthy ?
I have noticed that yorkshire terriers seem to have a lot of health issues. Are yorkies prone to more health issues than other pure breeds? I plan to get my puppy from a reputable breeder and I have no desire for an unusally small puppy. I realize that yorkies are already small and I have learned that there are no "teacups". I am just concerned because my bichon is considered a healthy breed with normal ailments. Bichons also suffer from allergies, slip knee caps (lp) etc.. These things I expect but I am afraid of a breed that is known for a lot of health issues. |
