He is adorable. Very cute yorkie! I would really urge you not to let him out by himself, even during the daytime. I assume you have hawks there, too. Owls, hawks, and coyotes are a huge danger for yorkies. There have been a number lost to these predators over the years here on YT. Just a word of warning. He is much smaller than your previous yorkie. I personally know two people who have lost yorkies to coyotes. One was taken at night. The other two were taken together by coyotes in daylight. I saw a huge owl across the road from our house in the last week or so in the daylight. He was just sitting in a tree waiting. I see hawks practically everyday here and I have to be out with mine, even though we have a fenced yard. This is just a word of warning. I have always believed it is better to be safe than sorry. Also, if you don't go out with him, then you won't really know if he has pottied and maybe that is why he is leaving presents in the bedroom.
