First, I would separate her from your grandchildren while they are in your home.

It is not recommended to have young children around Yorkies, especially a puppy mill dog that has never been properly socialized.

Second, I would hire a trainer to come in and evaluate her, and get her on the right track through appropriate trainig so maybe she could be reintroduced to the children one day in the future.

I don't understand what 'clapped' is?
