I have oak flooring throughout my home and quite a few area rugs. ZoE's never peed on my area rugs, bathroom rugs, or the lambskin rug in my bedroom...she only goes on her pads.

I'd make sure you clean the rugs where she's pottied very thoroughly. And I'd try bringing a dirty pad that she's peed on upstairs, downstairs...so it smells like her and she knows what's expected on it.

Do you praise & give treats (even just a few of her regular kibble...) when she goes potty where she's supposed to? It really helps to reinforce the behaviour.

Good luck
