I would have an orthopedic surgeon look at his knee and would not let a regular vet operate on it nor get the neuter and knee done at the same time. They didn't tell you what grade his knee was? Callie just had LP surgery and its an expensive and a long recovery so you really do need to have an orthopedic surgeon look at it and see what he thinks.
