On the mini's, I wrap 3 times on Zhoie's topknot. For bedtime, I take it down, brush her head good and rewrap at only 2 times...pull it loosely. I think it's much comfortable and really Zhoie doesn't seem to mind wearing it like that to bed. If I don't put it up, you can see her face at all
