A tinge of blood in the stool can be caused from parasites, and/or digestive upset which can make the lining of the intestines bleed slightly and become inflamed. Usually a bland diet will help it to heal with 3-4 days, and antibiotics are sometimes prescribed. Wait and watch, if the amount of blood you're seeing increases the take him in, as long as he is acting normally in all other aspects.
