I like Madan (sold by YT user Mimimomo, Jenny, at her website toplinepet.com, she is very helpful in choosing the right firmness of brush for your pet if you PM her), and I like Chris Christensen brushes and combs (sold directly from their site).
Use the pin brush with a brushing spray. Pet Silk has sprays, or Chris Christensen Ice on Ice. I use a dab of Pet Silk silk serum on Teddy when I brush him and that helps with static electricity too. Max has different hair and is prone to getting greasy if I apply too much product, but he doesn't have static problems like Teddy.
