My mom has a cockatiel also, and when she lays eggs, she gets a bit aggressive until about a day after she takes the eggs away. She says that she just makes sure to give her lots of love after she takes away the eggs...I don't really know how much this helps, but just wanted to let you know that my mom is in the same boat!
