A Christmas miracle! Marlee Grace came home last night (12/23), pretty wobbly, could barely stand, but she squeaked her beloved ball, ate some A/D canned food and lapped water. She was so happy, she couldn't stop with her famous Marlee kisses. When Marlee had her litter of pups earlier this year, she never made a peep, but she sure was vocal last night when she saw us, she wanted her family!!! The tears were flowing!!!
This morning she was able to stand and take some steps. I fed her, watched her go potty on a pee pad. We were ecstatic over her progress!
About 10am we laid down to nap, and about 1pm she heard hubby's truck, jumped up and wobbled downstairs! (Another shocker). I opened the door and she greeted him. It just gets better and better...we have watched her through the rest of the day and evening progress, the wobbly head is getting less and her gait is more stable. Obsessive over her ball, she would bring it to us, so we have been tossing it a few feet all night. I would guess she is 75-80% of her old self. I am hoping to have some time to research fish oil, milk thistle and SAM-e supplements...if any of you have knowledge of these, or other things that would heal her liver and brain, please let me know.

We feel so blessed and believe in the power in numbers and the power of prayer--THANK YOU!!!! I wish I had recorded video of the progress this little girl has made!

My house is far from ready for Santa tonight, I am days behind in my kitchen, this won't be the usual Christmas, but none of that matters, as our family did not have to say goodbye to our beloved dog, instead we have been given back our Marlee Grace!!!!

Merry Christmas, YT friends!!!!
