She's a little young to expect her to stay in her bed unless she's in a crate. We got Gracie at 15 weeks and put her in a small crate (soft bed, blankie) on a chair right next to the bed where she could see me. She settled down fine. The very few times she whimpered, I just tapped the crate and she'd settle down, but I never made a fuss so as not to reward her behavior. Eventually, we moved her into a bigger crate on the floor not right next to the bed. Your baby will still may wake you to go potty, though. Gracie was able to go 8 hours so could wait until about 5:30 or 6 AM, which wasn't too bad. Eventually she started sleeping in our bed at about 6 months because I was out of town for a couple of nights and my DH felt sorry for her! There was no putting her back in the crate after that! But your baby's young enough, you can probably get her comfortable in a crate in a couple of days. Good luck.
