 sleeping in my bed,ok?
Hi my 11 week old yorkie meesha will only sleep in my bed... i have a few beds for her, she'll sleep in them throughout the day, but as soon as i go to go to sleep in my bed she cries to get up. I tryed waiting to see if she'd stop crying one night, she didn't and attempted to run and jump and try to climb... now i don't mind her sleeping with me, but she'll wake me up in the night if she needs to go to her pee pads, ...so i haven't been getting a good nights sleep.
My father is building her a ramp with carpet so she can come and go, but for now i have big pillows all around my bed in case she falls out, she'll not fall far, onto them. Is this normal? LOL, i had a sheltie before and he never slept in the bed or ever wanted to.... is it safe?or should i try to train her to sleep in her own bed until she gets older?just wondeirng if it is normal for an 11 week old puppy to sleep in my bed, or is this developing a bad habit for her? |
