20% of purchase price is a rough guide line. What is the deposit for? IN otherwords, what does this deposit guarantee you? Pick of litter? Confirmed sex selection? ie you want a male, or a female, and breeder guarantees that you will have your selection for sex?
What happens to the deposit, if there is not a puppy in the litter you want? Refund, put on hold till next litter?
