One of our cats is about one year old. He and Jersey (6 1/2 month old yorkie) play, play, play! It is so cute! One day I am going to get a video and try to post it here. I think that playing together is probably the exception though and most at best, just tolerate each other or live in harmony.
I would see if you can take the cat on a trial basis, maybe about 2-4 weeks to give them a chance. I have fostered greyhounds for many years and it was always a condition of adoption that if they did not work out, they had to come back to the adoption group. When doing an adoption to a home with other pets, there is always a chance they will not get along. I am sure that the person fostering the cat knows that. Best of luck! |
