I actually discussed this with the vet during the exam. He said " sure, no problem". Im uncomfortable with medications to begin with, and this just seems like too much of one drug at one time. Perhaps i will wait until after his 3rd set of shots to start him on heart worm meds. He will be staying inside until then, and the threat of mosquito bites is nill to none this time of year.
My confidence in vets is very low due to past experiences, so when one says "sure, no problem", it's not convincing.
