Antibiotics take time to work, much more than a few hours or even a couple of days.
Continue to monitor your pup's gums. They should be pink and wet, not sticky or pale or white.
Allow your pup to rest. Over-handling a healthy pup can lead to hypoglycemia. A sick pup needs even more rest.
If he worsens in any way, call the vet immediately or get to an emergency clinic.
How old is he and how much does he weigh?
