Brought my 8 week old yorkie for an initial pet screening today. The vet gave me wormshield to start his heart worm preventative, and 4 syringes of pyrantel because he said he saw a couple of round worm in his stool. Wormshield has a pretty high ammount of pyrantel in it already( almost as much as all for syringes combined). I question giving my little boy this much, seeing how the wormshield is for the 0-25lb dog, and he weighs 1.5 lbs. Any opinions, experiences?
