How long has it been since you brought them. Any chance of returning them and getting a larger size. I brought a coat and a sweater from Foster and Smith which was the wrong size. I even had the coat monogrammed with his name. They were both to big. To my pleasant surprise I was able to return them both for the correct size. Even the coat! I would help but Gizmo takes a small.
