We had the doggie flu here that is going around and a friend of mine has a maltese puppy that has had the same thing, it is NOT Kennel Cough. It is a URI that requires antibiotics (our 10yr old pom had two rounds) and sometimes cough syrup. My pom hadnt even been anywhere but the backyard.
Keep a close eye on your baby to make sure that it is getting enough food and water. The vet is a very good idea. |
