My poor Dexter, ever since my bro & his dog came to visit, he's a mess! He is terrified of her and she's a nice dog too. She is a large yellow lab so she's scary to him and he's never been good with other dogs anyways.
Well poor little guy, he has been in his glory with all the 'new' treats, rawhides, foods etc... that he steals from her. Until it caught up with him. Poor baby is pretty constipated.
He was trying to go and then booty scooted on the grass when it wouldn't come all the way out, that matted it into his hair. I had to bathe him 2 days in a row now. He is all out of sorts. poor thing!
Is there anything that I can do for him to help with the constipation? Any foods or drinks? Can dogs have pepto? I don't see the need to rush him to the vet, he's fine in that, he IS pooping, it's just hard and hes having a hard time getting it out and I have to help him (gross!) hes active, eating, drinking water, playing, everything... hes just having a hard time.
