My little Farley is the same way toward my other dogs, they all get along great, but when farley is asleep, he doesnt want any of the dogs near him, sometimes even if they lay near him but dont touch him, he will growl, and if they dont move he gets up and moves somewhere else. UNLESS, he decides to go lay next to someone, lol, then he doesnt care if they are touching. He also at certain times is like this with my husband when im not home, if he tries to move him while he is sleeping. I however can move or touch him at anytime of the day , and he has never ever growled or snapped at me. I know we have to give them their space, but i also think its important to not let them get away with this kind of behavior. Cause i dont want it to get to the point where he would actually bite hard. |
