Keep the top 1/3 of the ear shaved down. Use a Wahl Peanut or other small grooming trimmer and it's easy to keep the ears trimmed. It's possible the drooping ears are a result of too much hair and teething. Hopefully with a trim, and his adult teeth completely in, the ears will stand just fine.
