Just noticed this thread. The hardest to buy for is my dad and my husband. For dad, since he is having hip replacement surgery next month, we found him an adjustable cane that has flags all over it.

For hubby: (lean forward, have to whisper!) 2 remote control helicopters. One for him and one to share with his brother or our dtr's boyfriend.
Keep in mind this is a 47 yr old man. I think he will like it.

I also got him, for our anniversary which was the 17th. a hexbug spider. He loved it and was what he had sd he wanted. he has been playing with it like crazy.
