Thanks everyone. I do think excitement has something to do with it, I just physically break it up or use a blanket and it's pretty much over. I was trying to figure out if it is possibly a dominance issue, but am not too sure about that.

This last time Jackson had a limp afterwards, but I checked right away and he started walking fine so hopefully, there are never any injuries.

That's what I am hoping, that the behavior corrects itself in the future, with no more fighting. I don't want to have to give one away because they are both good boys, it's just tough to know when they are going to go "off". Especially since they really do get along most of the time.
