I think keeping my girls happy and healthy in our fenced in back yard is pretty responsible. I don't feel the need to put her through the surgery when it is not life or death . Surgery is a big risk no matter what surgery . She's not running the town she's in my house or playing in the backyard. |
" keeping my girls happy and healthy" Would be to find a respected vet and getting her spayed.
It might just be life or death, if you don't spay her you can run into all types of issues- Spaying is the removal of the ovaries and uterus. Without these organs, ovarian cysts, uterine infections and cancer of the reproductive tract are no longer a concern. Studies have shown that dogs spayed before puberty have a significantly lower chance of developing breast cancer than unspayed dogs or dogs spayed later in life.
Why are you being so naive?
