Cookie had her ultrasound this morning and all signs are pointing to lymphangiectasia. The ultrasound did show enlarged lacteals, but they still need to do biopsies. They had to put her on IV fluids and give her hetastarch due to the concern of anesthetizing her with her albumin being so low. They called me at 12:30 to report that she was just going under anesthesia and having her endoscopy done.

They are going to keep her overnight. I surely hope she can be out of there tomorrow. I should be hearing from them soon and will post after that.

Thank you so much for your prayers...my sweet Cookie is going to need lots of them. This is a scary diagnosis. I hope she responds to treatment.

Ohhhhh and how nice of Valerie/Lolasmom1211 to come to GCVS to give me some moral support. It was so nice to see her!
