I've used Moroccan oil and mink oil on my dogs before, for deep conditioning treatments. I know many show breeders that use oils on coats, they keep their yorkies oiled and wrapped to protect and condition the coat.
Yorkie hair is very similar to human hair and will respond to many hair products in the same way.
