The vet just called. The endoscopy is done and Cookie is doing fine. They had some problems with her blood pressure duing the procedure so they opted not to do the colonoscopy. The plan was that if the endoscopy did not show something really obvious they would look at the large intesting. So....that is on hold for now. He is going to wait until the biopsy results to see where to go next. He said that while it did not look as significant as he thought it might, it does not mean it is not. Said that the biopsies tell all. Gee, I hope I am explaining this well. I am stressed and tired. Anyway....he does definitely feel better keeping her overnight since her blood pressure was off. They will call me later on today to let me know how she is doing. She is in ICU and getting really good care so I am not overly concerned. |
