I am so tired at this point
I called around for second opinions and everyone said that no she should not whelp alone. I called one vet who said that if i brought her in he would probably do a Oxycontin shot and watch her???? I have no idea what the right thing to do is at this point. I just want her to be ok. She seems fine just sleeps all day. She has not shown any more signs of whelping. She actually has stopped digging as of yesterday evening. I am also concerned with how much weight she has gained she does not look fat just all belly. She started at about 8 pounds and at the vet last night was almost 13. I am worried the pups are going to be too big. Bottom line is I have never been so stressed out in my life. I don't think I was this stressed when I had my kids lol. I guess I am going to take her to the Vet that said he would see her today at 2:00 and depending on what he thinks go from there. I just feel like my Vet is so irresponsible for saying she can Whelp alone.!!!! Would love to hear your thoughts on the matter guys
