Honestly, I would go to a specialist. Your vet is probably on the right track suggesting an endoscopy, but they might do other tests first. I would not be testing for food allergies....that is basically a waste of time. The best way to determine food allergies is by elimination diet. I am not vet, but I highly doubt this is an allergy problem. This diarrhea has, in my opinion, gone on too long.
