Just a little update...Fifi is making great strides with her new Foster "Family"...that's right, the entire family has pitched in to commit to making Fifi the best she can be.
Fifi may be Terrier-mix but, that makes her none the less more important than a full-blooded Yorkshire Terrier. What she is mixed with is irrelevant to her Foster Family and they are so excited to see what she will blossom into by the time she is ready for adoption.
Her coat is so dry & brittle from malnutrition and most likely being kept as an outside dog so, that alone will be interesting to see how her coat transforms after good nutrition & routine grooming.
Little Miss Fifi was treated for "tapeworm" which is also a contributing factor for her weighing in at only 8-1/2 lbs...on a frame which appears to be built for at least 15 lbs. Between the tapeworms and her litter of one...whatever nutrition she was consuming was obviously feeding everyone but her.
She is being free-fed at the moment to allow her to put her weight back on...which she is thoroughly enjoying!
Her three new Shih-Tzu step-siblings are in still in awe of her presence

as she has definitely brought a very different mix to the group...Fifi is full of

puppy excitement and wild abandonment while they've past that stage long ago.
So, as soon as I get new pic's of her in all her new found glory...I will share asap!
