Our lab Lily is far more interested in creative type games. She loves hide and seek with treats or toys. She will dive under water to get a stick or toy too. Lily loves the Agility course at the doggie park. Lily will keep doing it on her own when her daddy finally quits and sits gasping on the bench. Lily will play ball and mid air frizbee catch until we have to quit. She takes toys away from the Yorkies and lays on them. They climb all over her in frustation, barking and trying to dig it out from under her. She also loves to catch them asleep on the sofa with their little fleece blanket. She grabs the blanket and runs like a warrior with a captured battle flag. Once she pulled Abba along with the blanket, When he hit the floor, she stopped and sniffed him all over. When she determined he was ok, she took off with the blanket. He chased her barking wildly as usual. Life is never dull around here. | Isn't it heartwarming to see them pause their play and check each other out if they think one of them's been hurt. My kids do this too. It's all rough and tumble, every York for himself until one of them squeaks, then the others quickly rush in to make sure no real harm was done. Quote:

Our Brussels mix (Sprout) likes to play fetch and "cat herder". The funny bit is that they don't mind. He runs behind them and shoves his face against their hip, and heards them into a room. They play along.
As for Bella, she likes to play peek-a-boo. I'm teaching her how to do the trick "Say Your Prayers" and ...she decided she likes to throw a peek-a-boo into the mix. She'll Say her prayers and then pops her head up really fast..then back down again, then up again, etc. She looks like a Bella-in-the-box. | LOL "Cat Herder" Gracie Ruth likes to think she's the police. She'll stand in the middle of the room as Yogi is playing fetch and when he runs by her to get the toy that's been thrown, she' poke him with her nose and yammer at him, "No running in da house Yogi." When he runs back by returning the toy to me, she'll do it again only it's a bark this time. "Iz sayz NO RUNNING IN DA HOUSE YOGI!" She's not at all interested in the toy, just in policing Yogi's activities. Quote:
