So as most of you know Brandy has been at the vet for many things since we got her, dehydration kennel cough, pneumonia and then a relapse... SHe has got much better says the new vet but their is still signs for inflammation in the lung.. The pet shop had cover all her medical bills so I only had to pay out of pocket for the emergency visit to the first vet But now to make a choice.. the vet says she off the IV meds and has been doing better, but they would like to take another culture to see if she has a resistant bacteria thats slow the healing process.. which would cost out of pocket 230 dollars.. What do you guys think should I do.. the vet says other wise everything else is ok... she's eating,playing, getting on like a puppy should only that she still had the inflammation in the lung. she said she could come home but I don't want her to get sick. HAS ANYONE HEARD OF A RESISTANT BACTRIA IN PUPS? please get back to me.. help
