It might be best to go to a specialist at this point... as they usually get to the root of the problem quicker. There are conditions in which Metronidazole is contraindicated, and it may be harming her to continue with it until the other conditions are ruled out. It does not make sense that she's putting on weight with the amount and frequency of the diarrhea she's experiencing. |
