I'm so slow on the optake and kicking myself for not seeing this post sooner. Poor little Ellie. I'm glad that she woke up feeling better. I'm also happy that your vet is advising you not to hospitalize her when you're able to manage the pain from home. I think that would be less stress on her and you.
