Cochran seems to me like a comic book geek. I almost believed him when he said he wasn't in it for the money. I believe a lot of it was that he was so infatuated by the idea of being around "survivor stars" and he felt like a "superstar" because of it. He was weird. I was also disappointed that he defected from his tribe.
But, all in all, it was a game and all is fair in love and war. I know it looks and sounds bad when you make promises and don't keep them, but someone during tribal counsel made a comment that everyone knows what they are getting into. But, please don't make promises and bring up Christianity if you can't keep those promises.
