Poor Cody was staying with friends last week while we were on vacation. I am sure our friends didn't do anything or have any lapse in his care. BUt unfortunately, he came back to us all snotty and snuffling. I felt so bad for the little guy... we picked him up yesterday morning and he was just so tired. I was cuddling him on the couch and he took a three hour nap on my chest. The only time he woke up was to snuffle and snort, and then stretch before conking back out.

I know he needs to go to the vet and we have an appointment this afternoon. I just feel so bad for the little dude and I wish there was more I could do. We put a cool mist humidifier next to his crate last night but he woke up snuffling and snorting worse than ever.

I guess I'm just looking for a little support and hoping this will be nothing but a little cold that he'll get through quickly. Can anyone share their doggy cold stories? I've never been through this with a dog before and of course, little Cody is my baby so I feel just terrible about it. Any advice or stories to share?
