I have five yorkies and three of them have inverted sneeze (my Vet says). Because of the similarity of the sound of the sneeze (cough) and the collapsed trachea, I continue to worry. He keeps assuring me that it sounds worse than it is. But, I monitor my babies closely and keep worrying about it.
