Dog with Pica (obsession with eating foreign objects can be suffering from malnutrition, vitamin deficiency, or thyroid disorder. paracites and dietetics are two rarer reasons.

Then again the easiest cure and most common reasoning she could just be hungry and just need small meals through out the day-like 6 meals a day and see if that changes it.

My Princess is on vitamins & mineral compounds which curbs her from eating foreign objects-although when she gets a reaction (she is severely allergic to fleas) she despite doing well on her "meds" will freak out chew her own fur off and the fur off the other dogs also-she seems predisposed to go for plastic items around her.
