I confess I just had a word with 'that man'!!
Apparently he's doing a loft conversion and that space is for the window.
I've never spoken to him in nearly 30 years of living in my house - and this conversation consisted of me hollering at him through the tree, and he was kind of hanging round the roof taking tiles off - and it's snowing a bit too
