I lucked out with Sophie because she was really easy to housebreak. I voted outside and pee pads because we keep a pee pad on the porch so she goes to the door to go on the porch. If we leave her at home alone I can put a pee pad by the door and she will use it. She has only peed on the ground like twice and that was just because she couldn't hold it. We praised her and made a big fuss but she still doesn't want to go on the ground. She will be playing in the yard and come back on the porch to potty. Lol. As long as she doesn't go in the house I'm happy.
