I don't have a console seat for Ellie. Wanted one, but when purchasing I inquired about safety. The seller (may have been the Snoozer company themselves, now I forget) said it is not as safe as having your pup in the back. So unless you were planning on hooking it in the back, I wouldn't. But of course any carseat is safer than none at all.
